Hey there folks!!

Here's a little update on things happening in Mantra camp. The recordings of our second demo are well on the way:

drums, bass, and most of the rhythm guitar parts are completed. There has been zero problems so far, things are moving on slightly faster this time around; the making of the first demo was frustratingly slow due time schedules, or rather the incompatibility of them. It's the same old story of having to go to work (and study)and at the same time you're constantly struggling to find time to practice, be creative and record stuff. The lifelong dream of being able to solely concentrate on music and the band still lives on.

We're anxious to finish the recordings,'cause it will be thrilling to see what kind of response there will be. These new songs will introduce a little bit different Mantra X, at least a much wider perspective into our metal...and yeah, metal it will be. By mere coincidence the time is just right for us to publish a new demo, it'll see us off to year 2009. In hope of a busy next year, we're letting the music do the talking for us.

The demo will be ready in a month or two (an estimate, not knowledge)and we would much appreciate if you would kindly send us feedback on our website. We'll keep working further to bring the music to the people-not the other way around. Cheers!

Keikka ohi ja oli mukavaa!!! Mantra X oli lavalla uudessa kokoonpanossa ensimmäistä kertaa. Itseasiassa keikka oli bändille ensimmäinen kuuteen vuoteen. Oli hyvä ja tunnelmallinen fiilis soittaa biisejä yleisölle, joka oli paikalle saapunut. Kiitos teille!

Keikka äänitettiin dv-kameralla ja siitä tulossa klippejä jossain välissä. Nyt Mantra X jatkaa keikkojen metsästystä ja äänittää uutta tuotantoa promolevyn muotoon. Se ilmestyy alkuvuodesta 2009.

Pysykää liikkeellä ja piipatakaa vieraskirjassa moikkaamassa!!!

Now we have given all audiotracks of our promo songs to Tero Kinnunen (Emajor Studios). We are very excited about that. Those two songs are very powerful and melodic pieces of Mantra-X's music.

Mantra X have finished recordings of their first promo material with new line-up. Two songs will be mixed by Tero Kinnunen, E-major studios. Release will be sometime in March 2008.
